"Jim and I are so happy with the training Colt received from Jerry Barnes at Quail Hollow Kennels. Colt is a 3-year-old boxer and has been a city dog his whole life; he loves the hustle and bustle of Columbus, OH. We have worked on leash training with Colt since he was a puppy, but the occasional frisky dog, suspicious cat, or hopping squirrel would catch his attention and completely derail his good behavior. Since working with Jerry and his “Well Heeled Way” training process, Colt has been an absolute delight to walk. We are both able to enjoy going on walks with little distraction and no pulling. Jerry is a fantastic dog (and people) trainer. Colt absolutely adores him and snaps to attention for every command that Jerry gives him. Jerry took the time to show us Colt’s new training techniques and followed up in the weeks after training to ensure that all of our questions were answered and that things were continuing to go well.
